Governor General pays quick visit to Mandurah

GOVERNOR General Sir Peter Cosgrove enjoyed a cup of coffee when he paid a flying visit to Mandurah.

But it was no ordinary coffee – it was made by young people participating in the Intro to Barista and Saturdaze courses when the Governor toured the Billy Dower Youth Centre.

The centre houses a mix of not-for-profit, government and private services relating to youth.

The Governor also laid a wreath at Mandurah War Memorial and visited Mandurah Sea Rescue.
