Grandcarers enjoy a day out at Fairbridge Village

Thanks to the generosity of major sponsors such as Alcoa and many crowdfunding donors, grandcarers who have full time care of grandchildren with little government funding, enjoyed activities such as snake handling, circus skills, an Alcoa tour, outdoor activities, arts and crafts.

The group was greeted with a Noongar welcome and fire lighting ceremony from the Fairbridge cultural team and COOL co-ordinator, Cerrie Beech along with some volunteers.
