MANDURAH Community Gardens will flourish with a $15,484 grant from the Royalties for Regions Community Chest Grant.

Peel Development Commission chairman Paul Fitzpatrick said the impressive improvements at the gardens had been achieved by volunteers and supporters.

The aim at the gardens is to create an all-person accessible garden environment for all members of the community to enjoy.

City of Mandurah funded the gardens with Foodbank WA as partners by $15,000 over a three-year period to deliver the Healthy Community Connect Mandurah program.
