Halls Head College teacher accused of assaulting student granted bail

A TEACHER accused of pushing a 13-year-old student from Halls Head College appeared briefly in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday .

Dean Taka Wihongi was not required to plead to once count of common assault in circumstances of aggravation.

His case was remanded so he can employ a private lawyer.

Mr Wihongi’s bail was extended and he will reappear on November 14.
