Halls Head Croquet Club wins a swag of trophies at presentation day

HALLS Head Croquet Club has done it again and three more trophies are in the cabinet.

At a recent presentation day at Forrest Park, home of the WA Croquet Association, Halls Head players featured three times on the winning podium.

Kath Caris won the prestigious Commemorative Mt Lawley Trophy, dated 1909-1980.

It was keenly contested over the years by metro and country clubs. It was Halls Head’s first success in the competition.

Jock Fyfe was playing for more than a year and won the State handicap singles championship.

Halls Head club champion Peter Ross won the WA Country Golf Croquet Cup.
