Halls Head man gets life for murder

A MAN has been jailed for life for the murder of Greenfields father Axel Boreski.

The 27-year-old was stabbed to death by Michael Patrick Walker, 22, in July 2017, near Walker’s Halls Head home.

Walker was found guilty of the murder in February and was sentenced today in the WA District Court.

He received a life sentence with a minimum of 18 years before he is eligible for parole, with the sentence to be backdated to July 2017.

In sentencing the judge said Mr Boreski, who was stabbed seven times, was murdered in a “disinhibited act of explosive rage”.
