HALLS Head Primary School buried a time capsule on Friday as part of the schools 20th anniversary this year.
The school was officially opened on December 12, 1996 by the then Education Minister Colin Barnett.
All students had an opportunity to include a piece of writing in the capsule. Some students have written about their favourite things about school, while others made predictions about where they saw themselves in 20 years and the changes that might occur.
Other items include current photos of staff and students, current book titles, an article of school clothing and quirky paraphernalia.
Art teacher Sonia Doyle made a mosaic stepping stone to cover the burial site, so the time capsule can be found in another 20 years’ time.
