HALLS Head resident Glen Leach wants to thank the Mandurah community for hitching him a ride when his gopher breaks down.

The 50-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, is well known within the Mandurah community for riding his gopher.

Mr Leach’s sister Donna Williams said although her brother can’t talk, he understood how helpful those within the Mandurah community could be.

“I want to thank the Mandurah community for helping Glen with his gopher when he goes around town,” she said.

“When his gopher runs out of battery power, or he gets a flat tyre on his three-wheeler electric bike, people notice he’s stuck and bring him home or push him home on his gopher.”

Ms William’s said she was thankful to Mandurah residents.

“People always look out for him which is awesome and we want to thank the Mandurah community for it.”

If you spot Mr Leach having trouble please call Jenny Leach on 0408 919 386.
