HALLS Head resident Ernst Botha has been selected for a 2019 New Colombo Plan Scholarship.

Mr Botha is studying a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce double degree at Curtin University.

Mr Botha was announced as a successful recipient by Foreign Affairs Minister Marise Payne, at a formal ceremony in Canberra.

Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry congratulated the scholarship recipients.

He said the program provided a unique opportunity for students to network with Indo-Pacific neighbours.

“It gives them the chance to gain additional skills for their future careers.”
