Hockey stadium ready for finals thanks to volunteers from Alcoa

MANDURAH Hockey Stadium is ready for an exciting finals series thanks to help from Alcoa volunteers.

Eight employees volunteered their time to do maintenance at the stadium under the Alcoans Coming Together in Our Neighbourhoods (ACTION) program.

The stadium received a $3000 grant from Alcoa in recognition of its volunteers’ efforts.

Throughout 2018, about 1500 hours will be contributed by about 400 volunteers towards projects for not-for-profit organisations and Alcoa will donate nearly $144,000 to associated community organisations.
