Hot Klobba wins naming rights to Merlin Street Pavilion in Falcon

Jill BurgessMandurah Coastal Times

HOT Klobba has won the naming rights raffle for the Merlin Street pavilion at Falcon,

The City of Mandurah recommended approval at its meeting last night for the club to enter into a corporate sponsorship arrangement with Hot Klobba and allow the club to advertise the reserve and pavilion as Hot Klobba Stadium for promotional purposes only.

The council will continue to refer to the facility as Merlin Street Pavilion/reserve and book and hire the facilities under that title.

In 2014, the club secured Harcourt Mandurah as naming rights sponsor and Elite Air Conditioning in 2016.

Councillors were told the opportunity for Mandurah sports clubs to attract sponsorship was increasingly difficult in today’s economic climate and naming rights sponsorships was another avenue clubs could pursue to relieve the increasing costs of sport and recreation provision.
