‘I’m not a drug addict’

The Coodanup woman said since she was struck down by pneumonia and lost a lot of weight, people in public look at her like she is a drug addict.

She said she had been going to the same chemist for 20 years, but when she went to get antibiotics recently, it took about an hour to get her medication.

“They did not treat me very well,” she said.

“They said they could not find me on their system and I suspect they were looking me up on the drug registry.”

“I know what they’re thinking, but I am not on drugs,” she said.

“They should just ask me – I’ve been sick.”

Ms Wozniak appealed for people to not judge a book by its cover.

“I can’t help it and this must also be happening to cancer patients.”
