Indecent dealing with child charges after Mandurah bus incident

A WANNANUP man has been charged with the indecent dealing of a child on a bus travelling from Mandurah to Falcon.

The man handed himself into police yesterday after CCTV photos were released.

Police said a man sat next to a girl on a bus at 4.35pm on October 3 and started a conversation.

Police said a short time later, it is alleged the man was inappropriate and she screamed.

With the assistance of two passengers, the girl was able to get away from the man.

A 35-year-old man was charged with the indecent dealing of a child over 13 years old and under 16 years old. He is due in Mandurah Magistrates Court on November 30.
