COMMUTERS heading home via the Mitchell or Kwinana Freeways are in for a double dose of pain after two crashes have caused delays in both directions.

Traffic was significantly delayed this morning on the way into the city after a truck jackknifed, closing down two lanes of traffic.

This afternoon, another crash is set to cause commuter pain near Paganoni Road in Keralup.

Drivers should expect delays while the right-hand lane is blocked.

On the Mitchell Freeway northbound, the right lanes were blocked near Cedric Street, Innaloo after another crash.

The crash has since been cleared, but drivers heading home in that direction should expect delays also.
