Lakelands Aldi, north of Mandurah, all set to open

ALDI is set to open in Lakelands, north of Mandurah, later this month.

From Wednesday, June 21, Aldi Lakelands will provide the community with its award-winning grocery products and unique special buys, together with fresh fruit, vegetables and bread.

To celebrate the opening of Aldi Lakelands, there will be a number of unique special buys on offer, which will not be available in any other store.

Aldi’s special buys offer products across a range of categories like skiing, gardening, cooking or entertaining.

Special buys are popular with Australian shoppers and are one way Aldi is different from other supermarkets.

They appear in store every Wednesday and Saturday, and customers are given a preview of the products a week before via Aldi’s catalogue, e-newsletter, app and website.

“We offer a supermarket experience that is like no other in Australia, and it’s our differences that allow us to bring unbeatable value to our customers every day,” an Aldi spokesperson said.

“We’re excited to be opening our new store in Lakelands and look forward to showing residents the difference Aldi can make to their wallets and lifestyles.”

Aldi Lakelands features a number of recently introduced innovations that will offer an enhanced shopping experience for customers, with better product displays, improved navigation and a modern interior store design.

New features include redesigned shelving, expanded wooden produce bays, as well as extended energy efficient chillers.

“While we’re delighted to be introducing these innovations, we want our customers to know they won’t lead to higher prices,” the spokesperson said.

A team of 15 to 20 permanent full and part-time employees have been hired at Aldi Lakelands.

The new store is at Lakelands Shopping Centre, Mandurah Road, Lakelands.

Opening hours will be Monday to Wednesday 8:30am to 6pm, with extended trading until 9pm on Thursdays and Sunday hours will be 10am to 5pm.
