Santa will again visit the Carols by Candlelight at Lakelands Shopping Centre.

LAKELANDS Shopping Centre will kick off the most festive month of the year with Carols by Candlelight on Saturday, December 1.

The community is invited to the Lakelands Town Square to celebrate Christmas and join in the free, family-friendly fun.

Regional marketing manager Amanda Clarke said it would be a great night with loads of free entertainment.

As well as live Christmas carols from an array of different local choirs and musical groups, participants can enjoy food trucks, twilight handmade market stalls and Christmas crafts.

The Lakelands Christmas Tree will also be on display, with ornaments donated by the Lattitude Lakelands Hobby Shed.

“It’s also a great way to show your support for the local community,’’ Ms Clarke said.

“Buy a flicker candle on the night for a gold coin donation and all funds raised will be donated to the Lakelands Primary School P&C.”

Kids can enjoy face painting and mini golf as well as a visit from the man in red.

Guests are encouraged to take picnic blankets and chairs for the event which runs from 5-8pm.
