Lakelands: two teenagers charged with aggravated robbery and car theft

MANDURAH Detectives have charged two males over an incident in which a 17-year-old female received injuries when her Mazda 3 vehicle was stolen in Lakelands.

It will be alleged the incident occurred around 1.30am on Sunday, August 19 at the intersection of Kerikeri Heights and Winslow Crescent.

A 16-year-old of Lakelands has been charged with aggravated robbery and stealing a motor vehicle. He appeared in Mandurah Children’s Court on August 21 and will again appear on September 10.

A 16-year-old boy from Lakelands has also been charged with aggravated robbery, stealing a motor vehicle, no authority to drive, possessing cannabis and possessing drug paraphernalia.

He will appear before the Perth Children’s Court on August 24.
