MOVING into a new home can be a costly exercise, but thanks to Community Newspaper Group’s Look Local Win A Tradie competition a Meadow Springs woman was able to finish her kitchen.

Louisa Spangenberg won $2000 to renovate her home using a Look Local tradesperson.

Ms Spangenberg was able to add kitchen cupboards, skirting boards and put a door on her broom cupboard.

She moved into the home just under three years ago, but there were still things that needed to be finished.

“I am very happy; I’ve never won anything in my life,” she said.

“It was a new build, but there was still a few things we wanted to do. We were trying to save up to have it done.”
