The 2019 Pinjarra Festival is on the WA Day long weekend on June 1-3.

Murray MLA Robyn Clarke said the events brought the community together and represented the best of the Murray.

“The Pinjarra Festival in particular also promotes the region across WA and provides tourism opportunities for the area, boosting the economy,’’ she said.

Murray Shire president David Bolt said the events were highlights on the Murray event calendar.

“Our Christmas event unites Murray through celebration and is a great opportunity to gather and reflect on the past year and head into the festive season and New Year on the right note,’’ he said.

“With the generous support of our sponsors and through collaboration with our businesses, community members, groups and associations, the Pinjarra Festival grows in stature each year.”
