Madora Bay: Man rescued after falling off his vessel

PEEL Water Police attended a boating incident near Madora Bay, Mandurah this morning.

At about 8.30am, a 23-year-old man fell overboard from his 2.7m vessel whilst negotiating a surf break. The vessel continued to travel.

Nearby a Surf Life Saving jet ski operator saw the incident and assisted the man. Water Police and Dept of Transport Marine Safety vessels attended and recovered the boat.

The man, from Bibra Lake, was taken to Mandurah. He received no injuries.

The Department of Transport are investigating the incident.
