Man charged after rider pinned against wall

Mandurah Detectives charged the man after the incident in Halls Head on Saturday afternoon.

At 1pm, a man drove his Harley Davidson motorbike into the drive-through area of a bottle shop on Guava Way.

Police said a 35-year-old man driving a silver Holden Commodore sedan drove at the man on the motorbike and pinned him to a wall.

They claim he reversed and repeated this action twice more then drove away, not stopping to help.

The victim, a 31-year-old man from Chidlow, suffered serious injuries to his lower limbs.

Emergency services were called to the scene and he was taken to Peel Health Campus, before being sent to Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Soon after, detectives arrested the 35-year-old man.

He has been charged with intent to do grievous bodily harm and doing grievous bodily harm to another.

Daniel Thomas Peterson appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday and is due to reappear on February 12.
