Man charged with Erskine Hit and Run

Rachel FennerMandurah Coastal Times

Mandurah Detectives have charged a 22-year-old Lake Clifton man as a result of their investigation into a serious assault in Erskine on Tuesday, in which a 19-year-old woman was injured.

Police claim the woman was a passenger in a silver coloured Ford KA travelling along Oakleigh Drive when a green coloured Ford Falcon station wagon rear ended her vehicle outside a medical centre at about 4pm.

The woman confronted the driver of the other vehicle and when she leant in to speak with the driver, the man allegedly reversed his vehicle quickly, pulling the woman under the vehicle and running over her.
