Man charged with indecently assaulting a cleaner in a Mandurah Forum toilet

A FEMALE cleaner chased a man after she was groped in a disabled toilet at Mandurah Forum on Friday.

Police said the cleaner was in the toilet at 6.45pm and a man came in.

It is alleged he touched her inappropriately and then ran from the scene. She gave chase, yelling and screaming at him.

The cleaner caught up with the man and he tried to get away.

Police claim the woman was physically assaulted and a male bystander came to her assistance.

When security arrived, the bystander and victim had the man on the ground.

The man was taken to Mandurah Police Station.

Aaron James Collyer (23) was charged with unlawful indecent assault and common assault. He appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday and was refused bail. He is due in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 30.
