A MOTORBIKE rider has died after crashing into a fence in San Remo, a suburb in Mandurah’s north, last night.

Traffic Enforcement Group officers saw a Harley Davidson motorcycle, which appeared to be speeding, on Mandurah Road during their patrol in the area at about 9.20pm.

Officers attempted to stop the rider at the intersection of Britawast Road and Guillardon Terrace but the rider failed to stop and sped off.

Officers did not follow the rider but located the motorcycle crashed into a fence at an Orestes Street home while stopping an unrelated vehicle several minutes later.

The man, believed to be in his 40s, was taken to Peel Health Campus, where he died.
