Man facing drug and firearm charges after police raided a Greenfields house yesterday

MANDURAH detectives arrested a 31-year-old man after their investigation into a burglary at a house in Pinjarra on Sunday, June 19.

It will be alleged an offender broke into the home, stealing a number of firearms, ammunition, jewellery and electrical items.

Yesterday , as a result of their inquiries, detectives executed a search warrant on a home in Tuart Road, Greenfields.

During the search police found and seized a quantity of firearms, ammunition, jewellery and drug paraphernalia.

A 31-year-old Greenfields man has been charged with five counts of possess unlicensed firearm, five counts of possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property, two counts of unlicensed person possess firearm/ammunition, came into possession of three or more firearms while not being a holder of a licence to do so, receiving, failing to ensure safe keeping of firearm/ammunition, possessing cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

He is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on July 19.
