Man spat on woman for helping puppy

ASKING a man to wind down a window and give his puppy some water, resulted in one woman being abused, and spat on.

Mandurah Magistrates Court heard in Liam Campbell Wilsons absence – that he was parked outside Murphys Irish Pub on March 5 at 4.20pm – showing off his Rottweiler puppy.

His victim was seated in the smoking area at Murphys and watched Wilson put the puppy inside his car.

She said its a hot day the puppy needs water and an open window.

Do you know what I normally do, when other people tell me what to do? Wilson said to her.

Wilson threatened to punch the victim.

He jumped the fence and abused her.

Wilson spat at the victim through a gap in the fence.

She moved to avoid the spit and it landed on the back of her shirt.

He returned to his vehicle and stood on the side step.

Wilson spat again this time over the roof of the vehicle toward the victim.

He received a fine of $700 for common assault.
