Man who used head to smash way into a Waroona house pleads guilty

A MAN used his head to smash his way into a house in Waroona because he had taken ecstasy and thought he was being chased, it was heard in Mandurah Magistrates Court last Friday.

Craig Leslie Wilson sent an endorsed plea of guilty to court via a rehabilitation facility.

The police prosecutor told the court that Wilson was under the influence of drugs when he arrived at the victim’s home in Waroona at 3.58am on August 8.

Wilson thought he was being chased and began banging on a back door begging to be let inside.

He used his head to smash a back window and gain entry. The victims called an ambulance and police, who arrived to find Wilson covered in blood on the floor.

They took Wilson to Peel Health Campus where it was discovered he had taken ecstasy. He is on a conditional release order so he will have to appear in District Court for sentencing.
