Mandurah Anzac Day dawn service draws record crowd

Jill BurgessMandurah Coastal Times

A RECORD crowd of more than 7000 including tiny babies and toddlers braved an icy sunrise at Mandurah War Memorial for the Anzac Day dawn service.

Mandurah Scouts presented the RSL Anzac Flame and Canning MHR Andrew Hastie and Mandurah MLSA David Templeman received the Centenary of Anzac banner.

Crowds lined the Old Traffic Bridge later in the morning, on what turned out to be a stunning autumn day, for the last Anzac Day parade before the bridge is demolished.
