Mandurah apprentices win top ABN Training Apprentice awards

TWO young Mandurah men won awards at the annual ABN Training Apprentice Awards.

WA’s leading builder ABN Group celebrates its top performing building and construction apprentices each August.

Erskine man Dylan Winton was awarded Most Improved Apprentice and the Plumbing Apprentice Award.

The 21-year old plumbing and gas fitting apprentice put his apprenticeship on hold in 2014 to go into the AFL draft but recommitted to his training when not selected.

Mr Winton was recognised for his dedication and passionate approach to learning the skills of his trade with Boeing Plumbing.

Mandurah teen and wall and floor tiling apprentice Nicholas Keating won the Tiling Apprentice Award for the second year.

Mr Keating was praised by host company Homebuyers Centre for his attention to detail and commitment to delivering all his work above and beyond expectations.
