Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre officially opened

The redevelopment of Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre was officially opened by Mandurah Mayor Marina Vergone and Canning MHR Andrew Hastie.

The celebrations included a tour of stage 2, a VIP cocktail function and an SBL basketball game.

Stage 2 of the overall $42 million redevelopment includes two new multi-purpose sports courts including entry, foyer, administration, office, café and first aid facilities, a new gymnasium and group fitness facilities, a new main entry, foyer, reception, cafe, retail and meeting facilities, new staff administration facilities, new creche facilities, new toilet and change room facilities, renovated existing squash court facilities and new building faces.
