MANDURAH Baptist College Year 7 students are working with the Oceans Institute at the University of Western Australia artist-in-residence Angela Rossen to construct a mural based on the stunning landscape of the Serpentine River.

The mural aims to encourage sustainability and showcase the beauty of the Peel region landscapes.

Each student will paint an aspect of the overall mural for which Ms Rossen has created a backdrop.

Over the next two weeks, the students will work on the mural in the college’s Lakes Theatre foyer.
