Mandurah bike shop post about new concrete locking system
FLEET Cycles Mandurah have suggested a new concrete locking system to prevent bike theft.
The post on Facebook said: “given recent crime spree we have developed a new locking system to ensure your bike is where you left it for the next century.”
Comments on the post appreciated the humour, such as “great idea but park it at the forum” and “be gone in 10 mins.”
Fleet Cycles owner Mickey Bolton said everyone was doing their best in hard circumstances.
“You have to take things a little bit lighthearted,” he said.
“At the end of the day this [the crime] is part of our town now, which is hard to say.”
