The business is owned and run by Carl and Annette Wright and open every day of the year, weather permitting.

The staff are recognised for their boating knowledge and a range of skills that includes anything from fishing, scuba diving and marine science to coxwains, mechanics and meticulously planned and executed boat and bike maintenance.

Mandurah Boat and Bike Hire is also the only business in WA with GPS trackers on every boat.

The core of the company is a fleet of 13 hire boats for self-driven tours of the estuary, along with bicycles for the whole family.

The awards, now in their 46th year, attract entries from tourism businesses across WA, ranging from big operators to small family-run businesses.
