THE new Mandurah Bridge will be lit up blue and gold all week to celebrate the West Coast Eagles making the AFL Grand Final.
If the Eagles win, then the bridge might remain blue and gold for a while.
Chief executive Mark Newman said gold and blue were only two of the 6.7 million possible colour combinations Council can use.

READ NOWMr Newman said one of the features of the new bridge was the ability to vary the colours.
“We do have a regular colour rotation but we do vary the colours for special occasions,” he said.
“There is also an opportunity for not for profit community groups to book in a bridge colour for a day at no charge (unless there is the need for more complex colour patterns) to promote their cause. To make a booking go to Mandurah Bridge Lights.
