Mr Newman said one of the features of the new bridge was the ability to vary the colours.

“We do have a regular colour rotation but we do vary the colours for special occasions,” he said.

“There is also an opportunity for not for profit community groups to book in a bridge colour for a day at no charge       (unless there is the need for more complex colour patterns) to promote their cause. To make a booking go to Mandurah Bridge Lights.
