Staff ReporterMandurah Coastal Times

THE Urban Decent Mandurah Bridge Swing is swinging back into town.

The Mandurah Bridge Swing, at the Dawesville Cut Bridge, is the highest bridge swing in Australia.

It demands a lot of courage from participants and gives them the chance to make a positive impact in raising funds for charity through the process of registration and participation.

The City of Mandurah, Visit Mandurah and Urban Descent have teamed up to provide the event from Friday to Sunday, December 6 to 8.

There will be plenty of entertainment and fun for the family across the site over the weekend.

Mayor Rhys Williams wished participants good luck with their charity fundraising in the lead-up to their epic swing from the Port Bouvard bridge.

“Having participated myself last year, I can say that the swing is truly hair-raising and it was great to see Mandurah from a different view,” he said.
