Mandurah Catholic College students excel in national science competition

The international competition tests students’ scientific inquiry and problem-solving skills, as well as their scientific literacy in contemporary contexts.

Questions are aligned with the Australian sciencecurriculum.

About 48,000 students participated nationally.

Year 11 student Darryl Teo and Year 10 students Matthew Glatzel, Cameron Gauci, Holly Snell and Katherine Magpily achieved a High Distinction (top 5 per cent nationally).

Year 11 student Jamie Humble and Year 10 students David Bennett, Janelle Taylor, Kelly Collings, Liam Doyle, Samantha Spence achieved a credit (top 20 per cent nationally).
