ALL paths for the young and young at heart lead to the eastern foreshore on Sunday for a day of fun at the Mandurah Children’s Festival.

The 15th annual alcohol and smoke-free festival includes a dress up competition, creative workshops, rides, market stalls and non-stop entertainment on the main stage between 10am and 3pm.

The festival celebrates all that’s great about being a kid in Mandurah.

Go dressed in your best ‘discovery’ costume to take part in the dress-up competition.

The parade and judging is at 10.45am on the main stage with winners announced at 11.45am and some great prizes up for grabs.

Free entertainment and activities include a Discovery Dig, Solar Telescope, bouncy castles, SciTech and Peel Zoo displays.

Members of the Mandurah Men’s Shed have put the finishing touches to the special doll’s house to be won by one lucky person – enter the draw at the Mandurah Men’s Shed stall for a chance to win.

Festival-goers are asked to leave their dogs at home during the event.
