THE rain held off long enough for the annual Vietnam Vets Commemorative Service at the Mandurah Memorial last week, attended by a big crowd.

The service included an impressive address by school student and Army cadet Imari Morris.

The Australian and New Zealand national anthems were sung by Singleton Primary School Choir.

A single Hawk Lead-in fighter aircraft roared across the sky to pay respects just after 10am.
