THE Mandurah Crab Fest was inducted into the WA Tourism Awards Hall of Fame on Saturday night.

The popular event has won the gold medal three years in a row.

“I’m so proud of our team, local businesses and the community for all their hard work,” he said.

Tourism Council WA chief executive Evan Hall said the awards celebrated and recognised business excellence, innovation and outstanding customer service by tourism operators.

“The longevity and process of the awards really does mean that those operators which take home medals are the best tourism businesses West Australia has on offer,” he said.
