Mandurah detectives appeal for public assistance after vicious attack on woman in Meadow Springs park

MANDURAH Detectives need the public’s help after a young woman was viciously assaulted at a Meadow Springs’ park on Saturday, June 17.

The assault occurred between 6:30pm and 6:50pm, when the woman was approached by a man while walking through Jester Park (near Jester Parkway) with her small dog.

The man pushed the woman to the ground and struck the right side of her neck and shoulder.

She shouted for help and managed to run away to seek help.

During the attack the victim heard voices nearby and believes there may have been another two people in the park.

The victim attended Peel Health Campus where she received treatment for her injuries.

The man is described as dark skinned, 20-25 years of age, approximately 180cm tall, of a medium build, with dark wavy hair.

He was wearing a dark jacket over a light coloured top and dark long pants.
