POLICE would like to speak to two people after an 85-year-old woman’s handbag was stolen from a fast food restaurant in Mandurah.

The woman and her husband went to the Pinjarra Road restaurant at 11am on Tuesday, July 5.

The handbag contained cash, glasses and a mobile phone.

After the couple had finished their meal, they got up and left, leaving behind the handbag.

Soon after, a man and woman entered the restaurant.

While the woman ordered some food, the man walked around the store.

Police claim he saw the handbag and placed it under his jumper.

They both then left the store.
