Mandurah, Dwellingup and Pinjarra police team up for drugs and weapons search warrant

MANDURAH, Dwellingup and Pinjarra detectives teamed up today and charged a 32-year-old Pinjarra man with alleged stealing, fraud and weapon offences including owning a cattle prod.

Pinjarra Officer in Charge Senior Sergeant Ian Francis said police were following an alleged stealing incident in Mandurah where a mobile phone and credit card were stolen.

“We had some footage and followed up on some investigative leads,” he said.

Police then executed a search warrant at a Pinjarra home this morning at about 6.30am where weapons and drugs were found.

A female was charged with possessing a prohibited drug and drug paraphernalia.

“It was a team effort,” Senior Sergeant Francis said.

“It was a good day out and a good result.”
