Mandurah: elderly woman indecently assaulted in short stay accommodation

MANDURAH Detectives have charged a man in relation to an indecent assault at a short-stay accommodation complex in Mandurah yesterday afternoon .

Police said a woman in her late 70s was inside her room at the Mandurah Terrace complex at about 12.45pm when a man entered her room.

The man was arrested after a short foot chase and was handed over to Mandurah Detectives.

It will be further alleged the man committed an indecent act while in custody at Mandurah Police Station.
