JOB seekers will soon have the chance to meet businesses face-to-face and learn about available current and future roles at Mandurah Forum’s $350 million redevelopment.

Mandurah Forum’s free Jobs Fair on Thursday June 8, from 4pm to 8pm, is designed to match local job seekers with retailers, service providers and hospitality operators currently recruiting team members.

Job seekers have the chance to connect with 15 businesses that will be a part of the Jobs Fair with more than 100 jobs available.

The first major retail stage is due to open mid-year with a brand new Target store, a fresh food market hall and a wide selection of new specialty stores.

Centre manager Jacqueline McKenzie said the Jobs Fair offered the chance to connect and showcase skills to some of the new businesses as well as existing retails who were expanding their teams.

She encouraged job seekers to be involved and learn first-hand about real employment opportunities and career options that would soon be available.

“With 15 businesses involved and more than 100 jobs available, this is a chance to make connections with potential employers, ask questions about roles and apply for available jobs on the spot,’’ she said.

Participants are encouraged to see the Jobs Fair as an interview and take enough resumes for each of the businesses in which they were interested.

The Jobs Fair will be held in the event space near the Coffee Club.
