THOUSANDS of job hunters converged on Mandurah Forum yesterday in the hope of getting one of 100 jobs available at the redeveloped centre.
Job seekers were to have the chance to meet 15 businesses face-to-face and learn about available current and future roles at a free Jobs Fair designed to match local job seekers with retailers, service providers and hospitality operators currently recruiting team members.

READ NOWBut nobody expected the queue, that stretched at one point from one end of the complex to the other, to be so long and many people were turned away at 8pm when the Jobs Fair ended.
A centre spokesman said the Fair was a positive move and hundreds of resumes had been handed in.
A second Jobs Fair might be held before Christmas.
