ONE lucky shopper walked away with the $2000 grand prize from Mandurah Forum’s Heart of the South competition that kicked off as part of the centre’s first major retail stage opening in July.

Barry Newton now has a voucher to spend at the shopping centre.

More than 100 customers also took a range of prizes with each winner drawing their prize from the symbolic heart display.

Mr Newton said he had never won a thing.

“I had a dream the other night that I used my left and selected a heart in the middle so that is exactly what I did,’’ he said.

Prizes ranged from centre vouchers to a Samsung Galaxy tablet from the Telstra Shop.

The Forum redevelopment will include David Jones, a new fashion mall, a casual dining precinct designed around a water oasis and a contemporary food court with indoor-outdoor play area, opening early next year.
