Mandurah: Homeless Awareness Week event on the foreshore

Organisations involved included Rockingham Regional Arts Centre, Peel Community Kitchen, Peel Volunteer Resource Centre, West Aus Crisis and Welfare Services, Palmerston, St Vincent de Paul and GP down South.

Items such as clothes, bed linen, bacon and egg sandwiches, fruit, desserts, coffee and beanies were free or for a gold coin donation.

There was also a display of photos taken by homeless people who were given disposable cameras earlier this year.
