Mandurah man (44) dies after horror crash in Nambeelup

A 44-year-old man from Mandurah died after a crash in Nambeelup this morning.

Major Crash officers are investigating the fatal crash on the Kwinana Freeway.

Police said the crash was at 12.08am, about 3km north of Pinjarra Road.

The driver of a Nissan X Trail towing a trailer was travelling north and lost control of the vehicle. The X Trail rolled into the median strip, causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle, landing in the southbound lanes. He was then struck by a Mitsubishi Pajero travelling south.

St John Ambulance attended the scene but the man died from the injuries he received.
