Mandurah man charged after woman sexually assaulted in UWA toilet block

SEX Assault Squad detectives have charged a 22-year-old Mandurah man after a woman was sexually assaulted at the University of Western Australia on Saturday.

Police claim the incident occurred in a toilet block near Mounts Bay Road, Crawley at 8.30am.

The man has been charged with six counts of sexual penetration without consent and one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.

He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on September 24.
