POLICE have charged a 35-year-old Mandurah man after he allegedly evaded police in a vehicle on two occasions on Sunday.
It will be alleged the man was driving in the area of Forrest Road and Tonkin Highway at about 7am.
The car evaded police before police lost sight of it near Thomas Road.
The vehicle was again seen in the Mandurah area at about 12.20pm.
After a short pursuit, the car was immobilised with a tyre deflation device. The driver and the two passengers ran from the area, but were apprehended a short time later.
A 35-year-old man of Mandurah has been charged with breach of bail, two counts of failing to stop, two counts of stealing, four counts of stealing a motor vehicle, burglary with intent, four counts of burglary and commit stealing and two counts of reckless driving.
He will appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today.
